Chia-kang Liang was locked and loaded, helping the Fort Knox Centennial beat the Athletic Club KC U-21, 6-0. Liang picked up the win for Fort Knox, going 5 innings. He gave up no runs on 1 hits. He now sports a record of 2-0. Jesús Zargosa closed the game out for Fort Knox, earning his 1st save.
Fort Knox used the timely hitting of Majdy bin Rabi to capture the win. The catcher socked a grand slam home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Centennial ahead, 6-0. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a big one.
"We'll build on this win," said bin Rabi.
The Centennial, now 6-12, have not found much traction so far in 2053.
