Johnston Lays Hammer Down in 3-1 Win
The Toledo Stingers got a magnificent performance from pitcher Tom Johnston, who muffled the Long Island offense en route to a tight 3-1 Stingers win at The Lighthouse. Toledo raised its record to 11-11 with the win.

Johnston was in midseason form against the Lighthouse. He allowed no runs on 4 hits and fanned 11 in his 8-inning effort.

"Every loss hurts," said Long Island manager Michael Esposito. "But this was a tough one."
