With third baseman Henry Bell leading the charge, the Shady Side Zoomies defeated the Fort Knox Centennial, 4-3, at Terriers Ballpark. Bell was 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles. Shady Side reliever Connor Clow picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Rick Burnett absorbed the loss. Getting the save was Declan Iddon, his 2nd.

With two out in the bottom of the second, Kirk Pearson barreled up a fastball from Rick Burnett. The result was a 2-run home run, putting the Zoomies in front, 4-0.

"Hustle and hard work is a big part of our success," said Bell. "Those qualities define our team."

With the win, Shady Side elevates its record to 4-6.
