The Quebec City Baby Blues took Fort Knox pitcher Chia-kang Liang's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Ballpark of Baxter. The final score had Quebec City getting past the Centennial, 7-5. Liang went 6 innings and allowed no runs, striking out 8. The winner in relief was Ho Pang. The right-hander allowed 1 run on 2 hits in 2.2 innings. He now owns a record of 2-0. The Baby Blues, now 6-2, have been playing some good baseball.

Quebec City used a clutch hit from Juan Pérez to get the win. The third baseman drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Baby Blues ahead, 5-4. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

"You know, at the end of the day, it's about who scores the most runs," said Quebec City manager Troy Grant.
