In a low-scoring game between Hicksville and Fort Knox, pitcher David Jordan was excellent. The Hicksville right-hander helped his team knock off the Centennial, 2-1. Dean Bradley nailed down his 1st save. The win gives Hicksville a record of 4-2.
Hicksville took a 2-0 lead on Paul Johnston's 2nd home run of the season. The solo home run, which Johnston hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Fort Knox pitcher Joe Harding visibly frustrated.
"We did just enough to win," Johnston said.
