Late Magic Gets Columbia 4-3 Win
|
Columbia left fielder Carlos Serrano picked up 3 ribbies while helping his team beat back the Myrtle Beach Seahawks, 4-3. Columbia pitcher Rick Behan got the win, upping his record to 3-1. Manuel Liscano got the loss. The Seahawks, at 24-42, have lost 5 in a row.
The clutch at-bat in the bottom of the ninth belonged to Serrano. Facing Manuel Liscano with the bases loaded, the Columbia left fielder had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. Game over, walk-off style!
"It's great to get the crowd pumped up," Serrano said.
