Baby Blues Bridle Cajuns, 2-0
|
The Quebec City Baby Blues picked up a win at Dylan Park, knocking off the Crowley Cajuns, 2-0. On the mound for Quebec City was right-hander Jim Lee, who played a pivotal role in the win. Mark Wood was credited with the save for Quebec City, his 1st of the season. The Baby Blues, now 4-0, have been playing some good baseball.
The Baby Blues got a big hit from third baseman Oscar Meyer. In the bottom of the fifth, Meyer pounded a solo home run to right. His 1st home run of the season put the Baby Blues ahead, 2-0.
"If you pitch well, you give yourself some opportunities," said Quebec City manager Troy Grant.
