Crawdads Field was the site of an exciting ballgame between the Cut Off Crawdads and Myrtle Beach Seahawks.

The Cut Off Crawdads beat the Myrtle Beach Seahawks, 5-4, in part because of shortstop John Helms. He went 3-4 with a triple and a double, while scoring 3 times and driving in 2. Cut Off is now 38-22, Myrtle Beach 23-37.

Weiner Blau was the walk-off hero for Cut Off. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Crawdads catcher hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"We've got a great group of guys," Helms said, "and we're having fun right now."
