The Smoky Mountain Hobeaus downed the Monroeville Yinzers, 8-4, at Smokies Stadium. The Hobeaus were led by Víctor Rivas. He slugged 3 home runs. Smoky Mountain occupies last place in the Premier A at 10-30.

Rivas had a big at-bat with the bases empty in the bottom of the fourth inning, when he hit a solo home run. The Hobeaus went on to win.

"Another day, another win. On to the next one," Rivas told the Smoky Mountain News.
