Moore Spins Gem, Laredo Wins
|
Tim Moore was outstanding against Lake Erie. The right-hander had a fastball that was virtually unhittable at times. The result was a Hawks 5-0 win. With the loss, Lake Erie falls to 8-3.
The Hawks liked what they saw from Moore. The 21-year old pitcher had a commanding presence on the mound, limiting the Arryns to no runs on 2 hits over 6 innings, and striking out 10.
"If you pitch well, you give yourself some opportunities," said Laredo manager Oliver Burrell.
