Paul Wolfe left his imprint on the 7-6 Matlacha win against the Eugene Vandals. Wolfe, who is tied for 3rd in the SA in home runs with 12, was 3-5 with 2 home runs. He scored 3 runs and drove in 2. Matlacha reliever Eric Wheaton picked up the win, upping his record to 5-1. Rodrigo Romano took the loss. Today's win puts Matlacha at 40-32, while Eugene falls to 21-51.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the ninth. With two out, Wolfe hit a curveball from Rodrigo Romano for a solo home run. The Manatees, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"It was a nice win for our side today," said Manatees manager Jorge Villanueva. "Not perfect, but we'll take it."
