Arryns Pick Up 4-3 Win
|
The Lake Erie Arryns topped the South Beach Blaze, 4-3, with right fielder Harry Stewart playing a big role. Stewart went 2-3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Arryns in the win. Earning his 1st save of the year was Jason Ford. The defeat makes South Beach 6-3.
In the top of the second, with the game still scoreless, Stewart hit a 3-run home run to put his team in the lead.
In comments to the Lake Erie Times, Stewart admitted that he doesn't always push himself. "But the results," he said, "speak for themselves."
