Hawks Reel Off Another Win
Laredo Hawks starter Ric Nelson hurled his team past the Cut Off Crawdads, 4-2. Éric Lemaire sewed up the save, his 1st. After losing, Cut Off is 3-4.

The Hawks got an important contribution from right fielder Michael Mitchell, who in the top of the fourth knocked a first pitch fastball into right for a run-scoring double. It was his 3rd double of the season and put the Hawks ahead, 1-0.

"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Mitchell. "And not try to do too much."
