The Delmarva Gallos beat the Walla Walla Walleye, 6-3, at Walleye Tank. Delmarva third baseman Giobbe Bernasconi collected 1 single and 1 double, while driving in 1 runs. The winning pitcher was Michael Sawyer. He's now 3-1. He went 6.2 innings, allowing 3 runs on 6 hits for the Gallos. Otis Mullen collected save number 2.
Delmarva relied on the bat of Wayne Goodman to get the win. The center fielder ripped a 2-run triple in the top of the second inning to put the Gallos ahead, 2-1. For the game, Goodman had 1 double and 1 triple in 5 at-bats.
