Michael Ross pitched a gem to lead Matlacha to victory over the Kennesaw Jets, 3-0. Victor Jones recorded the save for Matlacha, his 7th of the season. With the win, Matlacha raised its record to 13-12.

Kennesaw had little success against Ross and his fastball. Ross tossed 105 pitches over 8 innings for the Manatees.

"We missed opportunities once again," said losing manager Kevin Tyler.
