Huntington Wins 3-2 to Continue Red-Hot Start
|
Huntington rode a good effort from starter Brian Hill to beat the Put-In-Bay Commodores at The Shell. The final score was 3-2. In 5 innings, Hill surrendered 5 hits, while striking out 7 and walking 4. He allowed 2 runs. Huntington goes to 15-5, Put-In-Bay to 8-12.
The Hermit Crabs got a big at-bat from third baseman Jeremy Hannah, who in the bottom of the first hit a 2-run home run. It was his 8th home run of the season and put the Hermit Crabs on top, 2-0.
"We had a good game plan," Hill said, "and we were able to execute it."
