Schmidt Leads Manatees to Win
A good performance from first baseman Pat Schmidt helped the Matlacha Manatees defeat the Grim Reapers, 13-7. Schmidt was 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk. He scored 3 runs and drove in 4 for the Manatees. With the win, Matlacha lifts its record to 10-9.

Matlacha took a 11-7 lead on Alejandro Delvillar's 1st home run of the season. The grand slam home run came off Grim pitcher Bob Houston in the bottom of the seventh.

"It was offense that won us the game," said winning manager Jorge Villanueva.
