Andrews Stars for Reapers in 6-2 Win
|
The Grim Reapers beat the Kennesaw Jets, 6-2, at Jets Stadium. Jack Andrews, in particular, was impressive. He went 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3. Luis Guevara recorded the save for Grim, his 1st of the season. Kennesaw, now 2-16, continues its dreadful start.
Andrews had a timely hit for Grim in the top of the seventh. With Kennesaw trailing 1-0, he turned a full count cutter into a 3-run home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season, making it 3-1, Grim.
"This level of focus will win us a lot of ballgames," Andrews said after the game.
