The Grim Reapers defeated the Levittown Blue Dragons, 7-0, in USSL Single A action at The Cave at Levittown. Grim pitcher Jack Hammer had a standout performance. Levittown is now 4-2.
Hammer, the winning pitcher, goes to 1-0 on the season. In 8 innings, the right-hander limited the opposition to no runs on 2 hits, while recording 5 punchouts. Hammer and the Reapers were able to cruise to victory.
In comments to the Grim Daily, Hammer admitted he's been told to improve his work habits. "But," he said, "I know when to take it to another gear."
