Opening day festivities have begun throughout the league. Fans of the Toledo Stingers were eager to watch Archie MacMurchy square off against Fernando Lujino of the visiting Long Island Lighthouse. In the end, the Stingers won the game, 6-1, with Archie MacMurchy leading the way. In 7 innings, MacMurchy surrendered 4 hits, while striking out 7 and walking 1. He allowed 1 run.
