The Niagara Falls Expos went down to defeat to Albert Wallace and his Chicago teammates. The final score was 3-2 in favor of the Tula. Dan Cook notched his 10th save in 13 chances. The third-place Tula have won 5 in a row.

The Tula got an important contribution from first baseman Earnest Ellison, who in the bottom of the third hit a fastball into right for a run-scoring double. It was his 16th double of the season and put the Tula ahead, 3-0.

Niagara Falls manager Mackenzie Bolen said he was "mildly disappointed" with the loss. "We had our opportunities, but we didn't take advantage of them," he said.
