Herons Reel Off Another Win
The Holy City Herons overcame a good performance by Yucca Valley catcher Mal James to knock off Yucca Valley, 7-4, at Mango Yard. James was 2-4 with 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. The winning continues for Holy City, with the latest making it 7 straight.

With one out in the top of the third, Tim Thomas had a chance to do some damage. Yucca Valley was trailing 4-0, but had the bases loaded. Thomas came to the plate against Don House, and hit a sacrifice fly. But it was not enough to complete a Yucca Valley comeback.
