Vibes Earn 5-3 Win Against Expos
|
The Rocky Mountain Vibes beat the Niagara Falls Expos, 5-3. Rocky Mountain pitcher and Harvard, Illinois, native Wesley Perkins led the way. The Expos, now 27-34, have lost 5 straight.
Rocky Mountain won the game in the bottom of the 15th inning. With no outs and Kyrion Henson on the mound for Niagara Falls, right fielder Chris Hagerman hit a dramatic 2-run home run, bringing Vibes fans to their feet.
"We fed off the energy of the crowd at the end," Hagerman said.
