Washington designated hitter José Otero had 3 ribbies while helping his team defeat the Yucca Valley Yellows, 8-2. Todd McGregor picked up the win, improving his season record to 3-1. He struck out 7 in 6.2 innings.

In the top of the first of a scoreless game, Otero hit a 3-run home run to put his team ahead.
