Starting pitcher Chris Morris was a major factor in the 3-0 Pontiac Godfathers triumph over the Yucca Valley Yellows. At 29-24, the Godfathers find themselves in 4th place in the Menard's A.
Dale Gribble hit a run-scoring triple off John Peterson in the bottom of the first, which put the Godfathers in front, 1-0. Gribble had 1 single, in addition to the triple. For the game, he went 2 for 4.
"We faced good pitching and still got it done," said Gribble.
