Vibes Snatch Late Win

Baseball fans saw a good contest between the Rocky Mountain Vibes and Yucca Valley Yellows.
The Rocky Mountain Vibes had to overcome a fine effort from Yucca Valley pitcher William Petersen to grab a narrow 5-3 win at Bellevue Field. Petersen went 6.1 innings and allowed 1 run. Irving Bouman notched the win in relief. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 4 innings. His record now sits at 2-1.
In the bottom of the eighth inning, Jeremy Blanchard contributed a big hit for the Vibes. With Rocky Mountain trailing 3-1, he hammered a 2-run home run.
"We take it day by day here," said Blanchard, "and today was a good one for us."
Rocky Mountain's record now stands at 22-24, placing them 6th in the Menard's A.
