Expos Get Past Pontiac for 3-2 Win
Justin Blake pitched well, but his team, the Pontiac Godfathers, still dropped a 3-2 decision to the Niagara Falls Expos at Pontiac Copperdome. Hugh Webb, credited with the win, is now 1-1. He allowed no runs on no hits. With the win over Pontiac, the Expos improved to 12-14.

Niagara Falls used the clutch hitting of Tommy Olsen to capture the win. The shortstop drilled a run-scoring double in the top of the eighth inning to give the Expos the lead, 3-2. For the game, Olsen had 1 single and 1 double in 4 at-bats.

"You come to the ballpark to do your job and that's what I did today," Olsen told the Niagara Falls Citizen.
