McGee, Washington Prevail in Pitchers' Duel
|
In a low-scoring tilt between the Washington Generals and the Idaho Falls Chukars, Steve McGee was the difference-maker. The Washington right-hander spearheaded the 1-0 win. Bill Joseph finished to wrap up his 1st save. The Generals raised their record to 11-14.
McGee tossed 106 pitches over 8 innings to clinch the win for the Generals. The right-hander allowed just 4 hits, while racking up 8 strikeouts in the game.
"Honestly, I'm not frustrated," said Idaho Falls manager Will Thomas. "The effort was great."
