Despite a fine performance by third baseman John Bly, the Squirrel Hill Pierogis lost to the Ithaca Fighting Imps, 7-6. Bly went 3-5 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 runs. The winning streak has now reached 4 games for the Fighting Imps.

The Fighting Imps procured the win, in large part because of third baseman Eldon Church. In the bottom of the tenth, he produced the game-winning run-scoring single.

"We had a chance to win," said Squirrel Hill manager Aaron Barnes, "but we didn't get it done."
