The Ft. Polk South Thunder Hawks got a magnificent performance from pitcher Héctor García, who muffled the Billings offense en route to a tight 2-0 Thunder Hawks win at The Igloo. García, now 10-7, was the winner. In 8 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 3, walking 2, and allowing no runs. Dylan Ziersch earned his 11th save in 14 chances.

With one out in the top of the seventh, William Bray had a game-changing hit. The Thunder Hawks shortstop slammed a run-scoring single off Larry Pulsifer, making the score 2-0, Ft. Polk South.
