Martínez Goes Deep Twice in 7-3 Thunder Hawks Win
The bat of Jorge Martínez helped the Ft. Polk South Thunder Hawks top the Gulf Coast Turbeaus, 7-3. Martínez was 3 for 4 with 2 home runs and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice for Ft. Polk South. The Thunder Hawks, at 33-50, sit in last place in the Premier AA.

Ft. Polk South took a 4-3 lead on José Rosário's 1st triple of the season. The run-scoring triple, which Rosário hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Gulf Coast pitcher Mario Noceda shaking his head.

"I was able to barrel up some pitches," said Martínez.
