|
In a well-pitched game between the Crescent City Krewe and the Virginia Beach Whales, pitcher Larry Bryant was superb. The Crescent City left-hander helped his team win, 2-1. Dennis Sims finished the game for Crescent City and earned his 3rd save. Crescent City, at 43-31, sits in second place in the Premier AA.
Bryant was in the zone all game. He frustrated Virginia Beach hitters while giving the Krewe 6 innings of quality work. Bryant threw 90 pitches, allowing 2 hits and getting 9 punchouts.
"Throwing strikes was the main thing," Bryant said.
