The Alaskan Bush Pilots defeated the Washington Generals, 8-1, at Bush Pilots Park. Alaskan center fielder Orlando Zamora had a superb performance. He was 3-3 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Cristián Colón picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 1-0. Danny Pierce was tagged with the loss. With the loss, Washington is 8-8.
Early in the game, Zamora had a 2-run home run for Alaskan. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Bush Pilots on top, 2-0.
Washington manager Micheal Garren said his team was "out of sync."
