Bane Delivers Walk-Off Win for Thunder Hawks
The Ft. Polk South Thunder Hawks beat the Billings Polar Bears by a score of 8-7. Ft. Polk South third baseman Jorge Martínez deserved the lion's share of the credit. Martínez went 2 for 4 with a home run and 2 walks, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3 for the Thunder Hawks. With the win, Ft. Polk South goes to 28-38, while the Polar Bears fall to 28-38.

The Thunder Hawks relied on left fielder Brian Bane for the game-winning hit. And, in the bottom of the tenth, he delivered, hitting a run-scoring single to seal the deal.

"This place was jumping at the end," Bane said.
