Crescent City and Asheville duked it out and the Krewe came out victorious.

The Crescent City Krewe trumped the Asheville Highlanders, 5-2, at Asheville Park. Crescent City second baseman Keng-chi Zhou was terrific. He was 2 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Crescent City reliever Sang Song picked up the win, upping his record to 2-3. Tomás Silva took the loss. Jack MacAlonie picked up the save for Crescent City, his 18th of the year.

With Crescent City leading 3-2 in the top of the fifth, Zhou hit a fastball from Tomás Silva for a 2-run home run. It was his 7th home run of the season and put the Krewe ahead, 5-2.

"Our goal is to improve each and every day," Zhou told the Crescent City Herald.

The second-place Krewe have won 6 in a row.
