The Squirrel Hill Pierogis got a sterling performance from pitcher Chris Barnes, but the Gulf Coast Turbeaus still prevailed, 5-4. Barnes threw 5.0 innings of 0-hit ball. The losses continue to mount for Squirrel Hill, which has now dropped 6 in a row.

Gulf Coast won the game in the bottom of the ninth inning. With two outs and Cristo Bermúdez on the mound for Squirrel Hill, left fielder Alec Clay hit a dramatic solo home run, bringing Turbeaus fans to their feet.
