Dixon, Asheville Prevail in Pitchers' Duel
The Asheville Highlanders got a stellar performance from pitcher Lonnie Dixon, who handcuffed the Ft. Polk South offense en route to a win, 2-0, at Thunder Hawks Ballpark. Andy Johnson, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 6th save. The Highlanders, at 27-31, sit in 5th place in the Premier AA.

The Thunder Hawks had trouble solving Dixon, who surrendered no runs on 1 hit over 7 innings.

"The hot tub feels extra good after a solid win," said Dixon.
