The Gulf Coast Turbeaus picked up a win at Mobile Home Park, taking down the Crescent City Krewe, 7-3. Starting pitcher Quincy Rose was a big reason why. Rose picked up the win for Gulf Coast, going 7 innings. He gave up 3 runs on 6 hits. He now sports a record of 3-5. Their 18-29 record puts the Turbeaus 9th in the Premier AA.

The Turbeaus got an important contribution from designated hitter Eddie Clark, who in the bottom of the third punched a 1-0 forkball into right-center for a 2-run triple. It was his 3rd triple of the season and put the Turbeaus ahead, 5-2.

"We took advantage of our opportunities," Clark told the Gulf Coast Today. "It's as simple as that."
