Combs Shines in 12-5 Asheville Win
The Asheville Highlanders beat the Ft. Polk South Thunder Hawks, 12-5, at Thunder Hawks Ballpark. The Highlanders got a fine performance from center fielder Ken Combs, who went 2-3 with a home run, a double, and 2 walks. He scored 2 runs and drove in 4. The Highlanders sit in 5th place in the Premier AA with a record of 23-22.

Combs made an early impact for Asheville when he stroked his 1st home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which came in the top of the third, put the Highlanders on top, 7-0.

"We'll relax tonight and enjoy this win," said Combs.
