Screaming Eagles Stick Fighting Imps with 7-1 Loss
Behind a fine performance from Milo Hamilton, the Mercer Island Screaming Eagles knocked off the Ithaca Fighting Imps, 7-1. Hamilton was 2 for 5 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2 for the Screaming Eagles. Geoffrey Da Costa collected his 1st save. The Screaming Eagles boast a remarkable 25-6 record.

The Screaming Eagles got an important contribution from catcher Joe Brouwers, who in the bottom of the fourth hit a sinker into left for a 2-run home run. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Screaming Eagles ahead, 2-1.

"We'll just keep our nose to the grindstone," Hamilton told the Mercer Island Gazette.
