In a tight affair between the Virginia Beach Whales and the Ithaca Fighting Imps, pitcher Daniel Goodwin was in the zone. The Virginia Beach right-hander helped his team win the game, 3-1. Goodwin got the win, improving to 2-0. He allowed 3 hits and walked 3 over 6 innings. Goodwin allowed no runs. The 5th-place Whales are now 11-12, the Fighting Imps 11-12.
