Krewe Bridle Highlanders, 3-1
|
The Crescent City Krewe got a magnificent performance from pitcher Fraser Chambers, who stifled the Asheville offense en route to a 3-1 Krewe win at Field of the Krewe. Jack MacAlonie picked up the save for Crescent City, his 8th of the year. The triumph puts Crescent City at 14-8 for the season.
Crescent City left fielder Trent Brown delivered a run-scoring double in the bottom of the sixth. Overall, he went 3 for 3, picking up 1 home run, 1 single, and 1 double. He scored 1 run and knocked in 2.
"I felt good up there," said Brown. "I saw the ball well."
