Gulf Coast Gets Riveting Walk-Off Win
The Gulf Coast Turbeaus topped the Virginia Beach Whales, 6-3, in USPL Double A action at Mobile Home Park. The game was highlighted by the performance of Gulf Coast pitcher Quincy Rose. Gulf Coast reliever Otis Luhgow picked up the win to move to 1-0. Dave Browning suffered the loss. Virginia Beach falls to 3-4.

Eddie Clark was the walk-off hero for Gulf Coast. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Turbeaus left fielder hit a dramatic 3-run home run to send the teams home.

"We'll relax tonight and enjoy this win," said Rose.
