Orpen Leads Hops to 7-4 Win Over Pilgrims
Yakima left fielder Brian Orpen had a 3-RBI game, which helped his team beat the Providence Pilgrims, 7-4. The third-place Hops improved to 52-42.

Andre Stenis went 1 for 3 with a walk. He drove in 2 runs for Yakima. The 25-year old left fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the seventh. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 4-4 tie with a run-scoring walk off Christopher Hutchinson. It was his 22nd walk of the season.

"We'll put that win in the can," said Orpen, "and go after the next one."
