Pilgrims Top Loons, 8-1
|
Providence Pilgrims starter Alje Anraad had all his pitches working at Loony Bin. His stellar performance paved the way for an easy 8-1 Providence win over the Minnesota Loons. The 'W' lifts Providence's record to 50-42.
Ray Reed didn't waste any time giving his team the lead. His first time up in the top of the first, he cranked a run-scoring single to put Providence on top, 1-0.
"I like how we're playing right now," said Reed.
