Brown Tames Ogres
|
The Pine Island Dolphins beat the Olympia Ogres, 2-0. Pine Island pitcher and Sheffield, Ohio, native Silas Brown led the way. Pie-qi Huang converted his 6th save in 7 tries. Pine Island occupies 4th place in the Silver AA at 49-41.
Brown was the winning pitcher. He raised his season record to 3-0. In 8 innings of work, Brown gave up no runs on 2 hits, while striking out 6. The Ogres were never able to generate much offense.
