The Gwinnett Guinea Pigs picked up a win at Experimental Stadium, knocking off the St. Petersburg Thunder, 5-2. Starting pitcher Brian Hill was an essential part of his team's success. The loss makes St. Petersburg 52-37.
Lawrence Wilson hit a run-scoring triple off Colm Broomfield in the bottom of the third, which put the Guinea Pigs in front, 2-1. Wilson had 1 single, in addition to the triple. For the game, he went 2 for 5.
