Guinea Pigs Top Dolphins, 5-4

The Gwinnett Guinea Pigs beat the Pine Island Dolphins, 5-4. Gwinnett pitcher and Denver, Colorado, native Rex Davis led the way. Gwinnett reliever Brody Avery picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Arturo Pérez took the loss. With the win, Gwinnett pushed its record to 12-11.
Gwinnett won the game in the bottom of the 19th inning. With one out and Arturo Pérez on the mound for Pine Island, left fielder Henry Morton hit a dramatic solo home run, bringing Guinea Pigs fans to their feet.
"This place was electric at the end," Davis said.
