Blues Win at Casper, 5-4
|
The Barton Springs Blues did just enough to secure a victory over the Casper Ghosts, 5-4, at The Graveyard. Nobody did more than pitcher Pleun Wolf. Barton Springs now sits in 5th place in the Menard's AA at 56-44.
Barton Springs used the bat of Dai-lin Yen to capture the win. The second baseman jacked a grand slam home run in the top of the first inning to put the Blues ahead, 4-0. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a dandy.
"I made some pitches when I had to," said Wolf.
