The Richland Rails topped the Barton Springs Blues, 6-3, at Rails Ballpark. Richland catcher Iván Monterrey banged out 1 single and 2 doubles, while driving in 1 runs. Martín Cedeño was credited with the save for Richland, his 23rd of the season. The loss makes Barton Springs 54-44.

Richland shortstop Ken Woods contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the fifth. With two down, he hit a slider into left field for a run-scoring single. It was his 10th hit of the season and put the Rails ahead, 5-3.

"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Richland manager Tom Carlson.
